A new lapis and sterling silver rosary! This one also has 7mm beads, but the pater beads are capped with sterling silver and finished with tiny silver beads and are entirely hand-wrapped for security as well as design. The chain is pure sterling silver as are the eye pins and jump rings. The madonna center is new, but the beautiful hand-engraved and scrolled crucifix is an antique bought at an estate sale and lovingly restored (by me) to its original beauty with careful polishing. The crucifix is 2 inches in length and of excellent quality. It is at least sixty years old. It is marked "sterling" at the base. The rosary is nicely proportioned and measures 23 inches. It is my opinion that, in addition to providing better value, the vintage sterling parts (in this case the crucifix) add a specialness to a rosary, giving it a bit of history. I hope you agree. This keepsake will be carefully packaged and comes with its own ostrich-look zippered case.
