A new rosary, this custom-designed sterling silver and crystal rosary features faceted 7mm lavendar (actually more a violet color) and white beads with sterling silver capped and hand-wrapped pater beads. The chain is sterling as are the vintage madonna center and crucifix. I discovered this lovely scrolled crucifix in an antique shop and bought it for the rosary. The crucifix is plain, nicely made with the "sterling" marking at the base of the 2 1/4 inch cross. Both crucifix and center have been polished, and all the chain, eye pins and jump rings are new. It is my opinion that, in addition to providing better value, these vintage sterling parts add a specialness to the rosary which measures 24 3/4 inches from top to bottom. It will be carefully packaged and comes with the ostrich-look zippered case you see in the photo.
