Here's another "new" rosary to the collection--this one a vintage black olive-shaped bead--not sure if this is bakelite or another material. I bought it in an estate sale, mainly for the lovely sterling center and crucifix, then decided to offer it here since it is in excellent condition and the silver components are alll sterling. All the beads are original and show almost no wear. The 1 3/4 inch engraved crucifix has "James P. Clark" faintly engraved on the back and the date 7-01-68 and is also marked "sterling." Because of the back engraving, I have priced it accordingly. It is my opinion that, in addition to providing better value, these vintage sterling parts add a specialness to a rosary, and if a vintage rosary can be restored to its original beauty, it's even more meaningful because it has a history. I hope you agree. This keepsake will be carefully packaged.
