This pink cobalto calcite druzy, also called "Cobaltoan" or "Cobaltion," comes from the Congo. The pinks are natural, not dyed or enhanced in any way. This material is extremely high quality and fairly rare. It comes in a variety of pinks, sometimes, as in this stone, with black spots. I've border wrapped it in 21 gauge 14kt gold-fill wire and given it a double swirl topper with a decorative embellishment at the top of the stone. A sturdy hidden bail will accommodate most chains. This is a custom piece created for a customer. The pendant measures 2 1/8" from top of bail and is 1 1/8" wide.
