Here is a gorgeous specimen of Horse Canyon agate from the Tehachapi region of Southern California. Notice the beautiful pale green plumes running down the stone and the clear to translucent background at the bottom. The picture doesn't do justice to this lovely stone. The pendant measures 2 3/8" from top of bail and is 1" wide. Note: Horse Canyon agate has an assortment of patterns and blends of white on white, green in white, green and white in translucent, mossy pale, pale blue green veinlets in clear agate, occasionally, some black and red areas with clear or white agate.
